By: Liss Thomas

It's been a year and a half and Missy, now close to seventeen years old finds herself returning to the human realm she left behind in hot pursuit of Anukhan, the thief that stole her blue light and almost left her dead. Sensing it when he uses her abilities, she along with Charlie, and Saal race to find this ruthless killer of men and monsters. But they realize almost too late that there is a physical connection between Missy and Anukhan and now stopping him with deadly force will prove fatal for Missy as well.

Undeterred, Missy prepares herself for a difficult fight, one that could cost more lives than she's willing to sacrifice. Unlike her quests in the monster realm, another silent killer returns. One she's fought against her entire life and this time, it could win.

I have to say for a YA book this had my interest pretty quickly. I couldn't put it down. I was deep in the story and bonded with the characters. I was along for the ride and I hated to see it end! It is a must read for all YA's fans!

These days, there's a lot of talk about living green, but does anyone actually do it? In What's It Like, Living Green? Kids Teaching Kids, by the Way They Live, you'll learn how other kids live green, along with tips as simple as putting on a sweater rather than turning up the heat. You'll see how kids like you can make a difference. Read about a teenage girl who learned to drive with a car fueled by used cooking grease. Learn about a boy who raised funds to build his first well to provide clean water for a whole village when he was only seven years old. You will learn simple ways to help the environment, help others, and even earn some money

This book is a wonderful way to read about all the different ways you can recycle and great tips on ways to be Green. As you read this book you will learn about how people have been recycling and their tips on how you can do that also. This book has all kinds of tips from composting to water conservation.

I defiantly would recommend this book for anyone who is wanting to learn about going green and what they can do to help be a part of keeping this Earth clean. We only have one Earth its not like we can move to the moon when we fill the Earth up. This book has opened my eyes that I can be doing a whole lot more to recycle, reuse and conserve what I have

How would you like to win this book for your kids? One lucky reader is going to do just that!

Girl At The End Of The World

I was raised in a homegrown, fundamentalist Christian group—which is just a shorthand way of saying I’m classically trained in apocalyptic stockpiling, street preaching, and the King James Version of the Bible. I know hundreds of obscure nineteenth-century hymns by heart and have such razor sharp “modesty vision” that I can spot a miniskirt a mile away.

Verily, verily I say unto thee, none of these highly specialized skills ever got me a job, but at least I’m all set for the end of the world. Selah.

A story of mind control, the Apocalypse, and modest attire.Elizabeth Esther grew up in love with Jesus but in fear of daily spankings (to “break her will”). Trained in her family-run church to confess sins real and imagined, she knew her parents loved her and God probably hated her. Not until she was grown and married did she find the courage to attempt the unthinkable. To leave.

In her memoir, readers will recognize questions every believer faces:When is spiritual zeal a gift, and when is it a trap? What happens when a pastor holds unchecked sway over his followers? And how can we leave behind the harm inflicted in the name of God without losing God in the process?

By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, Girl at the End of the World is a story of the lingering effects of spiritual abuse and the growing hope that God can still be good when His people fail.

Wow is all I can say. What a page turner! This story makes you want to cry, laugh, and gives you courage to change. Her strength and light shines through this book. Excellently written, I was enraptured from beginning to end.!
